Founded in 2009, Only Authentics leadership team created a philosophy of collecting ultra rare and beautiful handbags and accessories that previously were not easily attainable. With over 35 years of experience in the industry the Company began to collect and hold exclusive pieces that were seen as collectibles as much as consumer goods. OA focused its collections on Chanel and Hermes with a deep appreciation for their amazing design and esthetic value. Upon accumulating these handbags a passion turned into a business.
The outpouring reaction to the impeccable collection attained was so positive that OA began to receive weekly offers to purchase some or all of the collection. This turned the company from a collector to a retailer almost overnight. The passion to provide authenticity, exclusivity, and glamour lead to partnerships with Portero in it’s early years. Only Authentics has also curated with the head of luxury goods at Heritage Auctions. Shortly thereafter Only Authentics focused its efforts on traveling the world buying and selling the best handbags the world has to offer. The business and its team travel to Las Vegas, Miami, Palm Beach, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Hong Kong, Australia, and Paris to showcase their collection. OA later opened a boutique in NYC’s Barney’s while working with Lane Crawford in Hong Kong – creating much envy along the way. From runway’s to the shoulders of the elite, Only Authentics has become the leader in the niche market that is luxury handbags and accessories.
